Primus Power Lighters are ideal for starting fires and stoves in bad weather due to their narrow blue jet flame of 1300°C.

To light, slowly push down on the ignition trigger and hold. To turn off the lighter just release the trigger button. The soft grip silicone covering aids holding with gloves in bad weather, whilst the glass window allows you to view the volume of lighter fuel left.

When it comes to fuelling your power lighter, use the same butane products as you would for cigarette lighters and fill via the valve on the base of the lighter. Alternatively, refill directly from your Primus gas stove cartridge using the Primus adapter valve (purchased separately).
